Yesterday, I started having a new flare up of shoulder pain. I sort of have been pushing through it, but now feel pretty sore, so I could only paint a few hours today.
I am really intrigued by where this is going. Her little face just speaks volumes to me.....I put in a few of her "thoughts" floating up.....

She does have a piercing stare... hypnotic almost. Have you tried those "Salonpas" patches?
This is quickly becoming one of my favorites Tracey! The delicate beauty of her face and the eyes just draw you in.
Tracey, she's just beautiful. I used to live in paradise - a meadow surrounded by acres and acres of forests, with a fast running stream and pond. Deer - 5-6 of them at a time - would gather right outside my front window to eat the clover, which I refused to cut or poison. My favorite though was one doe who year after year bore two fawns and on sunny spring mornings I could sit at my breakfast nook and look out on the meadow and watch them caper and scamper as they played - it was one of the most precious things I've ever seen. It brought me such joy and peace and I miss this place terribly. In fact, we close on the sale of this paradise tomorrow and while I was there two days ago cleaning and moving a few last things, two deer came out to play. Your shephardess takes me there...
Wonderful painting! I've been delving into miniatures lately. You might try them and see if you like doing them...It would be a lot easier on your shoulder! Go to the AMA website for miniature art for more info!
Tracey!
I was soooo curious as to what you were going to do for the background and now I finally get to see!
Oh this is neat!
She appears to be in the clouds or in a deep fog.
Love it!
