Why is it that after a vacation I need a vacation day to recuperate? Laundry, cleaning....stuff.
This is how I left the painting on Thursday. I really feel good about it....I have a small goldfinch painting that needs finishing touches, as well. These two will be the first priority of the week.

Mmmmm, love the blue in this Tracey, so serene and cool and the grace is just flowing. Glad to see you're feeling better and back to the easel.
I love the repetition of the arcs in this vision. It is almost lyrical!
Tracey, when you told me you were working on an egret painting, I just knew it wouldn't be perched on a twig or sitting glumly on a rock! Your work is remarkable and I only wish I could be as imaginative as you invariably are.
