At the Easel

"Black Swan"
7" x 5", oil on panel
$250, framed

The last week I have been taken out by a pinched nerve in my shoulder. I feel like I have so much work to do and with such a painful, time consuming incident, I have to say I got a bit depressed. It seems for me this is going to be an issue related to my work, so I have to find ways to do whatever I can to keep flare ups at bay. Laying on an ice pack for days on end is rather frustrating, but I did think about those who deal with chronic pain without much relief and wondered how they manage whether it is because no one has found an answer to their pain or they live in a place without medical care. Within a few days of a visiting my chiropractor I was 100%. That day was today and this painting is finally done thanks to Dr Mannino.....

I just read that Artomatic is probably going to be pushed back to the fall. Gives me more time to paint.......

The black swan is lovely--graceful!

I'm glad you've gotten back to painting, and I'm so sorry you've had trouble with your shoulder.

Hi Tracey!

I'm so sorry to hear you are in pain again, but thankfully your doctor was able to give you relief and this beautiful swan emerged.

As Elizabeth said, the swan is so graceful. Truly has an elegance. It reminds me of an earlier black swan you did too.

Continue to mend and feel better!

I love the swans head Tracey. I hope you manage to work out the cause of the problem with your shoulder.

Tracey!

I'm sorry to hear you've been in so much pain recently. Poor dear.

The black swan painting is off to a great start!

I just ADORE black and orange-red together!
