Artomatic Deinstallation

All went well at Artomatic last night. I probably did more than I should have, but it took less than an hour. The hardest part was removing the vinyl letters. It is good to have my "children" home and now the process of going through the guestbook begins.

Most of the comments were positive, a few beautiful poems, a criticism, which is well taken, and a few bizarre things (including the aforementioned poorly drawn male genitalia, which apparently, was inflicted upon other artists as well.) The pornographic sketch also came with this comment:

"Eliminate the infantile expressions of artistc resonance in your work!"..spelled like that, in all caps. Anyone care to translate?

OOHH! And a cool drawing:

That is very cool! I think more artists should sign guest books that way.

Kind of sad to see it come down. I have to admit I was fascinated by the lettering you used too...you know the whole, wow where to you find things like that to make a booth look professional!

I hope it was a great experience for you...sounded like it was. And may it produce more fans, friends, and collectors of your work.

Blessings to you.

What a wild art show! I'm glad you had fun. Do you think you'll do it again next year?

What a wonderful experience youve had with artomatic, sorry to hear about your neck must make painting a bit uncomfortable.

I agree with Kathleen.

Kind of sad to see it all taken down.

I LOVE that drawing!

I went ahead and did some detective work for you, Tracey.

By doing a simple Google search I found "Redhead Comics" on Facebook.

Their location?

Washington, D.C.!

Coincidence? I think not!!

Perhaps you can send them a message and see if they were the same people who visited Artomatic.
