Fun Friday

I have been planning to paint on of my dad's goats for his birthday. I just realized his birthday is in a few weeks, so I painted Dexter (aka Big Daddy) today. This is a nice break from fretting over creating work for shows and reviewing contracts. Maybe I need to implement "fun Friday" each week on which I make no stress paintings.

LOL... I like the "Fun Friday" idea! We should see how many people we can get involved with that. You have a lot on your plat right now. Do what you need to do.
Love goats. Dexter looks like he knows what he's doing.

I like the fun Friday paintings. Big Daddy is just adorable. Someone down the road from us has two little goats, they are so cute. You Dad will definitely enjoy this painting.

This is fantastic! I love the color and the shadows, and his sweet wise face. You must have worked fast. Is this a smaller piece? Fun Friday: definitely a good idea!

Great idea, its good to have a few seperate things on the go. BTW I took your advice and did a small painting today6" x 6". It was a bit too fiddly for me, maybe Il try a size up!

Tracey!

Fantastic goat!

I love the facial expression. He almost looks like he's smirking.

Unique composition too, having his head be to the far left. It makes his horn stand out this way.

Funny, this looks like a happy painting and yet there still is that moody quality underneath it that you do so well.

Just great!
